Mary Bulla , LMHC

Mary Bulla is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) practicing in Florida who supports people facing grief, life transitions, chronic or terminal illness, mood disorders, and other emotional challenges. She creates a nonjudgmental, client-centered environment and adapts her approach based on what each person needs and finds helpful. Mary partners with clients to set and pursue realistic goals while inviting ongoing feedback throughout the process.

She earned a master’s degree from Nova Southeastern University and has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including as a grief and bereavement specialist at a hospice care facility. Her background includes experience with children ages 3 to 18 at a community health organization, work with teens and adults in private practice, and facilitation of support groups. Before becoming a therapist she balanced part-time work while raising four children. After receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer two years ago, Mary developed a particular interest in supporting people with chronic and terminal illness.

Her methods include person-centered approaches, solution-focused strategies, EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), psychoeducation, cognitive behavioral techniques, and art and play therapy. She encourages prospective clients to reach out with questions and respects the process of finding the right therapeutic fit, supporting clients to make choices that feel empowering for them.
